Clan War Belt

Hello :)

While some of you will know me, some of you might not, hence let me introduce myself first. My name is Mirariel and I am a Senator in Hell.

I am also an administrator of the RCC (Rome Total War Clan Central -> http://s1.zetaboards.com/RTW_Clan_Central/index/ ) site and it is in this function that I am here.

There are two things I would like to bring to your attention.

Firstly, I would like to encourage all clans who have not already done so to sign up for the RCC. All clans who do sign up, and who are accepted (there are minimum requirements, so as to avoid 1-man clans or clans just formed 2 days ago), do get one administrator and one global moderator for the entire site. All decissions that in any way concern the RCC, then, are taken by voting by the administrators. Each clan one vote. In other words, we are entirely democratic.

If you do have interest in this, and have not done so yet, please let me encourage you to do so. Go to aforementioned address and sign up. Make yourself be heard in where to guide the RTW clan community from here on out. :)

Secondly I would like to invite you. We, that is the RCC community, has revived the original CWB (Clan War Belt) tournament. It is to this tournament that I would like to invite your clan to. For details on the rules, the modus, and anything else around the tournament please check out http://s1.zetaboards.com/RTW_Clan_Central/forum/1383642/

We would be very honored by your participation. The judges in this tournament are Plant and myself, with the input - when it seems necessary - of all other admin who do take an interest.

As for the tourney - I don't play tournaments. Sure - I am in an internal clan tourney right now and have been in the past - but basically I do not play tourneys.

2. Sith doesn't do tournaments

Very understandable, 90% of all MP games I played on ETW ended with someone crashing or quitting and when it didn't the lagg was tremendous. So ETW is a no-go.

Warman - many of us have tried ETW and found it to be shit. Running with no lobbies is a nuisance but Steam itself provides worse connections than GaySpy ever has - slow and laggy. Add to the fact that it is all too easy to cheat and ETW becomes a complete waste of time and money.

2. Sith doesn't do tournaments

I concur with Max's sentiments expressed elsewhere - too much of a nuisance to get games organised. Many others concur, which is why "Sith doesn't do tournaments". We do have a good influx of new players who might have the time to hang around interminably waiting for their opponent to show up, in which case Sith might start doing tournaments again.

As for Clan wars - wtf! There was some point to them when there were clans with honour who would actually fold after being massacred, but with the ongoing arguments, bickering and downright cheating that occurred in 2006 and later (no names, no pack drill, but I still have my War Medals tucked away ...), they became pointless. How the hell can you have a Clan War when there is no consensus of opinion as to how they are decided and what the outcome will be for the winners and losers?

I hate ETW as it is historically inaccurate and the warfare was completely retarded during the musket age yet they kept marching whole lines of men up to 40 yards after the invention of rifled guns. i simply will not buy the shit game, nor Napoleon TW which is a 60 $ a pop ripoff of a RTW mod.

Now as i stated before, Sith's veteran players are busy with real life and they sure as hell ain't gonna make time if you do shit like make a team without telling the supposed teammates. You are starting to royally piss me off with your BS.
Now as a socialist i suggest you stop bitching and moaning, and either go get in shape for winning your special battle and getting a special signature. Either that or you can stop being an egocentric asshole and actually start caring about the clans you join. From what i hear Hell desperately needs a trainer and since you are such an "old veteran player" I am sure they will be more than happy to appoint you as trainer for one of their houses, will they not?
