Good Morrow chaps,

As i have been out the loop for a very long time and I'm in the process of looking for components to build a PC can any of you fine young gentlemen advise on:

- What components (i.e. graphics cards, Mother boards etc etc) you would recommend taking into account it must be reasonably priced.

- Where to get components, I've been looking at Microdirect.co.uk and Spam, but any other places you can recommend would be fantastic.

At the minute i'm using my girlfriends compaq laptop which unless you lot can play a frame every half an hour i can't play on lol.

Lastly tis good to be back on the road again as it's been aaaaaaages!!

Have a look at Palicomp on eBay. I've got one of theirs - dual core 2.8GHz, 2GB RAM (OK, it's 2 1/2 years old now) - which cost me about £250. I upgraded the Graphics to an ATI Sapphire with 512Mb RAM (cost me just under 30 Euros in Munich) and a couple of Samsung 500Gb drives (under £50 each). What they sell now is much more modern but I am sure that this rig will cope with Empire.
